For plastics manufacturers

Ask your plastics ERP questions on WhatsApp.

Give sales, purchasing, and plant teams a way to check resin availability, production status, and customer commitments from the ERP records you already keep.

Check the resin you can actually use

A stock balance does not tell the whole story. Resin can be reserved for another production order, held for quality review, or stored at a different location. An inventory question needs the material grade, warehouse, reservations, and any recorded restrictions.

SPOF uses your table dictionary and schema to connect those records to the terms your team uses. The read-only agent can explain the recorded balance and its reservations; it cannot release stock, change an allocation, or replace a physical inventory check.

  • Which resin grade is available at the plant?
  • What quantity is already reserved for production?
  • Which open orders depend on an incoming material delivery?

Follow the material blocker to the production order

A late production order may depend on resin, masterbatch, packaging, or an unfinished operation. Your team can ask which orders need attention and inspect the corresponding material requirements and latest recorded status in WhatsApp.

Example using fictional records: DEMO-WO-B is past its sample due date, and the required blue masterbatch has not been received. The answer points purchasing to that missing receipt and asks for a confirmed delivery date. It does not invent a revised completion date when the underlying records cannot support one.

Give sales the context behind a lead time or quote

Connect a customer question to its sales order, production status, and recorded dispatch commitment. If inspection is still open or a replenishment date is missing, the answer should identify the gap before sales makes a promise.

For quote questions, define which existing quote records and pricing context each user may access. The agent retrieves permitted information; your team still approves the commercial terms. Shared identifiers and consistent units matter when relating material quantities to finished products.

  • When is this order expected to ship, and what is still pending?
  • Which backorders are past their promised date?
  • What does the latest recorded quote say for this customer and product?

Start with your ERP, your permissions, and one question

Bring the ERP names and versions your business uses, the roles that need answers, and a recurring question. We review available read-only access, map the relevant records, load the dictionary and schema, and configure the agent on a dedicated server with per-user profiles.

Your database remains on your server. The AI provider and information included in model requests are reviewed as part of the deployment configuration. Connection coverage depends on your systems and access; a vendor name alone is not a guarantee of support.

The first walkthrough uses a sample industry dataset. A deployment then needs validation against representative records from your environment, including missing updates and conflicting statuses, before the team relies on it for daily questions.
